Wellllll I have another haul. I know it seems like I did one not too long ago but I have acquired some exciting new purchases over the past couple weeks and have found some great deals as well. There are some fabulous products in this bunch. I have tried most of these products, so reviews on some of the product will be coming up soon!
MAC Purchases: I had a free shipping promotion code for www.maccosmetics.com, so my mom and I decided to order a few things. I ordered a new 15-palette and a 4-palette, with 4 new eyeshadows. I needed to de-pot some more of my MAC shadows (see how to do this here), so I bought another 15-palette to put them all in. I purchased the 4-palette because I figured it would be nice to travel with. The eyeshadows I purchased are: Brun, Sable, Smut, and Wedge. Brun is a brownish-black color, Sable is a gold color with purple/pink undertones, Smut is a black color with subtle red shimmer, and Wedge is a soft beige/taupe color.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact (Deluxe Sample): A couple of weeks ago, Sephora was offering a free deluxe sample of the new Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact with any $35 purchase, so I added it into my order. I love when Sephora offers deluxe size samples for free with purchase! The size is pretty decent too, around 1/3 of the actual product’s size. I am interested to see how I will like this, because the Laura Mercier liquid tinted moisturizer is one of my holy grail products.
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette: I have been hearing about this product for a couple years now, and I am finally jumping on the bandwagon! I religiously use my Dior brow styler, but I think that the Anastasia will be great at adding tiny flicks for a fuller look.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray: This Oribe product is supposedly the best product for texturizing and volumizing hair. I had a 20% offer in the Birchbox store and I had a $10 credit in my account, so I purchased this otherwise crazy expensive product, for a decent price! If you are not a member of Birchbox, you can join here. Basically, it is a monthly service in which you receive a box in the mail full of different product samples. It is only $10 and it is a great way to try out new products! Now back to the product…I have used this a few times now and am extremely excited to write a review on it! Hint: It’s AMAZING.
Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara: This was one of my 100-point perks at Sephora, so I received it free with purchase. I absolutely adore Lancôme mascaras so I can’t wait to try this.
Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream in Light/Medium: Whew, long name. I haven’t tried many BB creams, but I have been reading up on them, and this seems to be the drugstore favorite.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil: A brand new release from Bumble and Bumble, this hair oil packs an impressive amount of oils to soften and strengthen hair, while giving a nice sheen. In addition, it is also a heat protectant.
Laura Mercier Lip Glacé: I received an email from Laura Mercier a couple of weeks ago advertising their clearance section on their website, so I had to check it out. I saw that some of the Lip Glacés were on sale for $16 (originally $24), so I picked up Nectar and Nude Lilac, 2 colors that I wanted when they came out this past spring/summer.
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Nylon: This liquid lipstick is a bright, neon, bubblegum-pink color. I thought that the color looked similar to MAC Candy Yum Yum, which is not readily available. Review on the way.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara: I bought this the other day for a special price of only $10 (regularly $19) at Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty event. I have tried the Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara and love it, so I figured I would try this one as well.
Julep Nail Polishes in Brandt, Hoch, and Sophie: I am a Julep Maven member, which is a $20 monthly subscription service in which you receive nail products valued at $40+. You also receive 20% off of all Julep products, all the time. I love Julep nail polishes so this service is a no-brainer for me. If you want to join, you can here. The polishes I received are all from the Trina Turk for Julep collection. Brandt is an off-black color, Hoch is an emerald green color (I added this color onto my monthly box for only $4.99), and Sophie is a beige color.
As you can see, I have a lot of new products to test out!
